Modified bitumen Plant (Lucobit, Pegon polymers)

Today’s increasing development of roads, highways and increasing number of vehicles and traffic loads on the asphalt pavement has created the need for asphalt with higher performance properties.

The use of modified bitumen prevents rapid aging of bitumen and while increasing the adhesion of bitumen on aggregate materials, it prevents early asphalt damage such as rutting, thermal cracks, and quick appearance fatigue cracks in asphalt pavements, etc.

TOWZINGAR Modified Bitumen Plant

Modified bitumen plant is designed and manufactured to produce polymer bitumen such as Lucobit or similar polymers such as Pegon that do not require colloid mill. The plant has been equipped with two insulated tanks which have heating coils. The initial tank is applied for mixing bitumen and polymer. The optimal design of this tank reduces energy consumption and then increases energy efficiency. The initial tank has a mixer for mixing bitumen and polymer at the appropriate temperature limits and time range. The mixer makes belnding well and makes the final product completely homogeneous and ready for application. Mixing of bitumen and polymer must be applied within defined temperature range. The heating of the system is provided by hot thermal oil which is circulated inside the coils in a maximum operating temperature of 190 ° C. Appropriate thermal insulation has been used to prevent heat loss from the tank body. The final product is reserved in the secondary tank. It should be noted that the system is suitable for mixing non required colloidal mill polymers. The final product (modified bitumen) is used to produce modified asphalt.

The plant can be manufactured and delivered in different capacities according to the customer’s request.
